Small groups, big belonging
Curiosity at every age
“ManMastishk is where cognitive fitness becomes a lifestyle. We move brain health from an afterthought to a priority, using neuroplasticity, the capacity for new learning, and community engagement to ensure that as you age, your mind continues to learn, adapt, and thrive.”
As one grows older, we often notice subtle changes forgetfulness, reduced social interaction, or a lack of mental stimulation. But what people truly need is not just care… they need engagement, purpose, and connection.
ManMastishk was born from this belief that ageing should not mean slowing down the mind, but nurturing it with curiosity, learning, and community.
From lively group workshops to focused one-on-one sessions every experience is crafted with care, curiosity, and cognitive wellness at heart.
Fun, guided exercises that improve memory, focus, and thinking without pressure.
Shared learning experiences through activities which are brain stimulating, encourage conversation and social connection.

A journey inspired by curiosity, care, and the belief that learning never stops.
Driven by a deep curiosity about ageing and the human mind, Gauri pursued M.A. in Psychology and a Diploma in Gerontology from TISS.
Since 1994, Gauri has had the privilege of working closely with Dr. Anand Nadkarni and volunteering at Institute for Psychological Health and with Vedh, an initiative dedicated to personal growth and mental wellbeing. This long association profoundly shaped her understanding of human development, mental health, and the importance of creating spaces where people can continue to learn and evolve throughout life.
Inspired by Dr. Nadkarni’s vision and guidance, she later initiated Sukhsopan, an elderly activity centre at Niwara, as a voluntary endeavour. Through this work, she witnessed firsthand the immense potential, wisdom, and resilience of older adults, as well as the need for meaningful opportunities for engagement, learning, and social connection.
Through her academic journey and real-world experience, she recognised a growing gap—
a lack of awareness around cognitive health, neuroplasticity, and the importance of lifelong learning.
What began as a desire to spread awareness soon evolved into action.
Gauri initiated interactive online sessions to make conversations around mental wellbeing more accessible and relatable.
But she saw something more—
a genuine eagerness in people to learn, explore, and grow at every stage of life.
This led to the creation of engaging workshops and activities that go beyond information
they ignite curiosity, build confidence, and keep the mind alive.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Sangeeta brings both professional expertise and intellectual curiosity to ManMastishk.
With a background in Marketing and IT-enabled services, she later followed her passion for interdisciplinary learning, earning a diploma in Sustainable Management of Natural Resources & Nature Conservation, from the Ecological Society, Pune.
Her learning journey spans diverse fields like botany, ornithology, geology et al, reflecting her belief that growth has no boundaries.
At Man Mastishk, she plays a key role in shaping a space where learning is joyful, curiosity is nurtured, and meaningful community connections can flourish. Her work reflects a deep belief that an engaged mind paves the way for a richer, more fulfilling life.
ManMastishk is not just an initiative it is a space where minds stay active, hearts stay engaged, and life continues to feel meaningful.
Learning should never have an age limit. Every stage of life holds new possibilities and untapped potential waiting to be discovered.
A stimulated mind brings confidence and joy not just to oneself, but to everyone in one's life. Mental engagement is a gift to all.
Staying curious is the key to staying young. Curiosity is a muscle — and at ManMastishk, we exercise it every single day.
